Upon graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, with a degree in visual communications, Gina Sample moved to San Diego and began a professional career as a textbook designer at Harcourt Brace Jovanovich.

After 14 years of working at various design firms, Gina decided to pursue her own full service design studio. This allows her more creative control and the opportunity to create effective and accessible design for a variety of clients and industries. In 1999, Sample Design opened and has continued to provide unique, creative solutions and personalized service.

Throughout the years Sample Design has expanded its services by offering web design, strategic marketing and copywriting.
